Jednomyślnie - 34 głosami - łódzcy radni przyjęli wczoraj stanowisko, w którym sprzeciwiają się budowie w okolicach Zgierza kopalni odkrywkowej węgla brunatnego. Stanowisko rady trafi teraz do ministra środowiska, który wydaje koncesję na powstanie kopalni. Decyzję radnych oklaskami przyjęli mieszkańcy gminy Zgierz, którzy z transparentami zjawili się na sesji. Przekonywali, że budowa kopalni oznacza konieczność przesiedlenia 3,5 tys. mieszkańców, bowiem jej powierzchnia będzie większa niż zakładu w Bełchatowie, zmieniona zostanie także struktura wód podziemnych w Łodzi i może wyschnąć większość studni głębinowych w mieście.

Przed budynkiem ochotniczej straży pożarnej Andrzeja Leppera przywitał tłum. Przyszło ponad trzysta osób. Andrzej Prochoń z łódzkiej Samoobrony zapewniał, że jeśli będzie trzeba, zablokują całą Łódź. - Staniemy w dwóch miejscach na "Gierkówce", na trasie Skierniewice - Radomsko i przy wszystkich trasach wylotowych. Nie będzie można wjechać ani wyjechać. Nawet kolej odetniemy - krzyczał przez mikrofon. Po chwili dodał jednak: - Ale może poczekajmy, aż będzie trochę cieplej.

Gdy jeden z mężczyzn spytał dlaczego Lepper nic nie zrobił dla rolników jako wicepremier, sala zaczęła buczeć. - Nasłuchał się w telewizji tej propagandy burżuazyjnej - krzyczał jeden z mieszkańców.

Później Lepper zaczął swoje tradycyjne przemówienie przedwyborcze. Mówił o dotacjach na owoce miękkie i ile to rolnicy dostawali za jabłka, zboże i mleko, gdy on był w rządzie.

Część mieszkańców przytakiwała po każdym wypowiedzianym słowie, część nie wierzyła, że cokolwiek pomoże. - Próbuje ludziom w głowie zamieszać. Przygotowuje się do wyborów, żeby znowu mieć wygodną posadkę - uważał pan Zdzisław.

Najwięcej było jednak osób jak Andrzej Gola: - Nie głosowałem na niego ani nie podzielam jego opinii, ale w naszej sytuacji musimy chwytać się wszystkich sposobów. Chcą zabrać nam wszystko, co mamy, więc trzeba się ratować. Jeśli choć trochę pomoże, to już będzie coś.

Lepper na pytanie, czy to część kampanii wyborczej, odpowiadał: - Ci ludzie poprosili mnie o wsparcie, więc przyjechałem. Zawsze byliśmy z rolnikami, więc i teraz ich nie zostawimy. Niech każdy to robi.

Dostałem dziś rano od Agaty zdjęcie kopalnianej ulotki.

Może jestem złośliwy, a może się nie wyspałem. Wg mnie, albo zatrudniona przez Kopalnię agencja PR sama płaci żeby ją zatrudniać, albo to jakiś rodzinny biznes w jednopokojowym biurze gdzieś w Poznaniu.

Tu jakiś węgielek, tu jakieś drzewko, i oczojebny brązik na pistacjowym tle. Literówki. Znów wysiadła autokorekta w Wordzie. No i komunikat “dowolne kształtowanie terenu“. Już się czuję jak w filmie Science Fiction. Dzielni Ziemianie lądują na Marsie i zaczynają terraforming. Po dwóch tygodniach spędzonych z laserami i teleporterami, mamy zieloną przestrzeń z rajskimi wodospadami, wypełnioną śpiewem kolorowych ptaków.

Bezpieczeństwo zbiorników wodnych? Wolne żarty. Prezes Orlikowski niech ubierze się w strój cheerleaderki i zaśpiewa mieszkańcom Koźmina przebój Britney Spears “Oops! I did it again”. Nam może śpiewać “Give me baby one more time” :). Ciekaw jestem w jaki sposób zamierza to zrobić. I jak zamierza pozbyć się wypłukiwanej słonej wody.

“Możliwość realizacji projektu źródeł geotermalnych“. Dostawmy jeszcze kotły ze smołą i będzie uzdrowisko. W piekle jest dość ciepło…

Jeśli ktoś uważa że taka ulotka - o żenująco niskim poziomie - i edytorskim, i merytorycznym - jest w stanie przekonać zamieszkałą w okolicy ludność, to mogę śmiało przewidzieć reakcje :). Panowie/Panie z Image PR! Daliście dupy! Trzeba było zrobić rozpoznanie demograficzne. Nie spodziewajcie się że w okolicach mieszka ciemna popegieerowska ludność. Tu są ludzie w większości swej dobrze wykształceni, osadnicy z miasta i świadomi kitu, który wciskacie. To jest po prostu obraźliwe, że pokusiliście się o taki tani chwycik.

Witnesses tell of Greek police 'brutality'

The government has instructed the police to take a defensive stance By Malcolm Brabant BBC News, Athens A British expatriate businessman living in Athens has told how a pre-bedtime stroll with his dog led to an introduction to Greek police violence. The man, who is in his 30s, and has asked not to be identified, contacted the BBC after witnessing what he says was unjustified brutality and aggression in the popular bar district of Gazi in the early hours of Sunday morning. "As the protesters put their hands on their heads to signify that they were not intending to fight, the police began beating individuals with their batons, issuing threats of extreme violence. The women were handcuffed together and the men strip-searched. "Additional police joined the group to stop passers-by witnessing what was going on. Four young men aged about 20 and clearly not connected to the demonstration walked past. They were ushered on. "As they were walking away, a riot policeman ran up behind one of the men kicking him in the back making obscene comments about his size.
